Fathom Freedom and her crew are licensed to US Coast Guard rigid operating standards and she is piloted by a Master Captain. Our vessel is absolutely the newest, most modern, luxurious and well-appointed charter vessel on Lake Travis. We utilize radar, sonar, an onboard weather station, along with many years of experience to keep you and your guests safe.

Fathom Freedom is designed with the guest in mind. Tastefully appointed and decorated with art by local Austin artists, this 6 guest max yacht cruise experience truly stands out. If you are ready to disconnect from tech and reconnect with your inner zen, these are the mindfulness experiences for you.
Yacht charters are held aboard the Fathom Freedom, a sleek and modern 38-foot Monterey Yacht located on Lake Travis.
Enjoy plush modern seating and accommodations, spa towels, healthy plated apps, meals on nautical-themed dinnerware with Italian silverware. The captain and crew anticipate all guest needs and can even help guests with the use of the kayak and stand up paddle boards (SUPs).

JOHN M. CAPTAIN
John is a licensed US Coast Guard Master Captain, holds a diploma in commercial shipping management from Lloyd’s Maritime Academy in the UK and also serves in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. He loves scuba diving and sailing adventures worldwide. John grew up boating on the Great Lakes, and has spent more than 30 years on Lake Austin, Lake Travis and on the Atlantic Ocean. His family hails from the northern Aegean islands of Greece and have deep roots as seafarers. John previously was on the management and marketing team of Continental Airlines and has escorted clients on tours worldwide.
ELENA V.
FIRST MATE
Elena is a trained chef and event planner and holds a Cordon Der Diploma, the Mexican equivalent of a Cordon Blue. Elena previously was a Director of Private Events at River Place Country Club in Austin, Texas and now manages events at Balcones Country Club. She is a professionally trained floral designer and her clients have included the Long Center, Austin Symphony and the Austin Lyric Opera. Elena is a yoga instructor certified by one of Austin’s oldest and most well recognized studios, Dharma Yoga. She currently leads meditation, floating meditation and yoga classes at Lake Austin Spa, one of the country’s premier spa destinations. Elena incorporates awareness and mindfulness into her yoga practice.
